Kickboxers from county Sligo will be returning home from this week’s WAKO European Championships in Montenegro with six medals.
Lucy Conlon Oates won a silver and bronze.
Her sister Halle also claimed a silver medal.
There were also bronze medals this week for Kyle Keaney – and for the Scanlon brothers Leo and PJ.
Kickboxing is set to be introduced as an exhibition sport at the next Olympic Games in Paris in three years time – which gives the Ireland team members a fresh target to aim for.
