Donegal TD says ‘nothing has been learned’ from Katherine Zappone appointment



The Foreign Affairs Minister has defended Eamon Ryan appointment of members of the Climate Change Advisory Council.

Minister Ryan appointed two new members of the council – one of which was a former advisor to him and the other was a former Green Party election candidate.

Donegal Sinn Fein TD, Pearse Doherty said nothing has been learned following the controversial appointment of former Minister, Katherine Zappone, as a UN Special Envoy.

He said nothing has changed after Minister Donnelly claimed that ‘lessons must be learned’ following Katherine Zappone’s appointment.
