The Minister of State at the Department of Health and Sligo/Leitrim TD, Frank Feighan, has tested positive for Covid-19.
A statement from the Department of Health to OceanFM this evening states that Minister Feighan received a ‘detected’ result from a PCR test for the virus.
He experienced mild symptoms on Sunday and following public health advice, he self isolated and received the test.
Minister Feighan is urging anyone with symptoms to self isolate and arrange a test immediately by contacting your GP or through hse.ie.
