The overall finalist to represent OceanFM in the Irish Music Month’s ‘Local Hero Award’ has been chosen.
The four member group, ‘Whatever Suits’, was chosen from five finalists after numerous entries.
They will now be judged against 24 other bands and singers from across Ireland where five will be picked to play in the Academy in Dublin on November 18th.
The winner will then be revealed on the night.
The members of ‘Whatever Suits’ met in secondary school and have spent the last six years playing in pubs and clubs across the north west honing their musical fusion of blues, rock and funk.
