Easkey & Naomh Eoin cruise into Sligo hurling final

Holders Easkey eased into the Sligo senior hurling championship final with an emphatic 4-19 to 1-9 win over Coolera/Strandhill at Kent Park on Sunday.

Their county final opponents in two weeks time will be 2019 winners Naomh Eoin, who enjoyed an even bigger win at Ballydoogan, beating Calry/St Joseph’s by 6-24 to 1-9.

Elsewhere, a goal from Eamonn O’Hara wasn’t enough to prevent Tourlestrane intermediate footballers from being relegated to junior championship football next season, after they lost the intermediate relegation final to Castleconnor in Bunninadden by a single point.

Curry are celebrating the county junior ‘B’ title for 2021 after a seven-point win against Eastern Harps.
