Irish fishing industry ‘thrown under the bus’ with Brexit deal

The CEO of the Killybegs Fishermen’s Organisation says the burden due to Brexit needs to be fairly distributed between EU member states.

Sean O’Donoghue was speaking after meeting with the The EU Commissioner for Environment, Oceans and Fisheries, Virginijus Sinkevicius, in Killybegs yesterday.

He said they feel the deal is a very bad one for the European Union and especially for Ireland.

Speaking to OceanFM News, he says Ireland got ‘thrown under the bus.’
