OceanFM has joined with 24 other radio stations in a major new initiative to promote Irish artists and bands.
Irish Music Month aims to showcase the talent Ireland has to offer in the music scene which is supported by Independent Broadcasters of Ireland and Hot Press.
OceanFM is trying to find the regions ‘New Local Hero’ in a competition that is running on Ocean Drive with Seamie MacManus.
Five finalists will be chosen from all entries with one chosen to go on to the National Judging where they are in with a chance to win €5000 to help fund their career.
