Thirty-nine patients in the north west’s two main hospitals are waiting for beds today.
There are 25 in Letterkenny University Hospital, six of whom are in the emergency department, and 14 in Sligo University Hospital, where there are nine in ED.
A total of 305 patients in hospitals throughout the country are waiting for beds today, according to today’s Trolley Watch figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
