Building of Drumcliffe Primary Care Centre to be completed by end of this year

It’s expected a new primary care centre in Drumcliffe in north Sligo may be ready to open by the middle of next year.

It follows a response from the HSE to Sligo Independent Councillor Marie Casserly that the centre, which is currently being built, is to be completed at the end of this year.

Equipping of the building will start in January and it is expected this will take about two months.

The new centre will replace the nearby building currently used by Drumcliffe Medical Practice.

Meanwhile, work is also continuing on the building of another larger care centre in Grange.
