Sligo Students Union President says adequate accommodation available for new year



The new president of the Students Union in Sligo has moved to ease the fears of those attending third level education in Sligo in relation to rising College costs.

Yesterday it was reported that the cost of third level education in some is set to increase by as much as 12,000 euro from last year.

Daire Martin has recently taken over as President of the IT Sligo Students Union.

He says that although there many be a shortage of traditional houses which were rented by students in Sligo there will be an adequate amount of purpose built accommodation to cater for the demand.
