The Association of Catholic Priests has taken issue with the Bishop of Elphin, Kevin Doran, and other bishops that there were discussions with priests and pastoral councils before taking the decision to proceed with communion and confirmation ceremonies. Meanwhile, the Association say the preparation procedure for both sacraments is no longer fit for purpose
