A status yellow weather warning for thunderstorm and rain is in place for Ulster, Connacht and north Leinster today.
Met Eireann says heavy, slow-moving and thundery showers will lead to further localised flooding and hazardous driving conditions.
The alert’s in place until midnight tonight.
