St Francis won the Leitrim LGFA Spring League Division 1 final on Sunday with a 2-10 to 1-10 success over St Joseph’s at Shane McGettigan Park in Drumshanbo.
Team mentor Paul Martin spoke to PJ Leddy about the signifiance of the win.
The team were congratulated by RTÉ news presenter Brian Dobson (pictured) who was in the Drumshanbo area on Sunday.
Elsewhere on Sunday, Dromahair won the Division 2 title with a five-point victory over Drumkeerin.
