Access to healthcare, Covid and Brexit among key concerns of people in NW

Access to healthcare, Covid and the impacts of Brexit are among the key concerns of people in Connacht and Ulster.

They’re among the key findings of an online discussion that took place as part of the Conference on the Future of Europe, which is a Europe-wide initiative to involve people in a debate about the EU’s challenges and priorities.

Lisa Nic an Bhreithimh is head of communications and education with the European Movement Ireland, which was founded in 1954 to develop the link between Ireland and the EU.

She has been telling Ocean FM News about the concerns of people in Connacht and Ulster when it comes to the future of the EU and its impact on the people in their local areas.
