Local INTO official outlines requirements in advance of budget



There are primary schools through the north west that needs smaller classes, more qualified teachers and that should not have to fundraise for basic expenses.

These are the main points outlined by the Irish National Teachers’ Organisation in its pre-budget submission to the government.

In a series of meetings with all political parties recently, the INTO set out the the deficiencies in the primary school system that needs to be tackled in the coming budget.
