Brennan praises fight in young Sligo side



The Sligo senior ladies’ footballers were beaten in consecutive championship games after a two point loss to Westmeath on Sunday last.

With a six point lead at half time, Sligo were in the driving seat, but could not hold on as Westmeath took control.

Manager Anthony Brennan spoke promisingly about building a panel of 40 committed players, something he sees is not there at the moment with Sligo.
