Advice not to swim at Dunmoran beach lifted

The advice not to swim at Dunmoran Beach in Sligo has been lifted.

Elevated levels of E-Coli were discovered in a water sample taken on July 12th and following HSE advice, the no swimming notice was erected.

The latest sample returned an excellent water quality result.

Sligo County Council say they continue to monitor bathing areas around the county with information available on their website.
