Sligo Gardaí have seized money, assets and drugs during searches in the Sligo Town area.
The Criminal Assets Bureau in conjunction with the Sligo Garda Division, the Regional Armed Support Unit, the Garda Dog Unit and the Customs Revenue Dog Unit conducted searches of four properties this morning in relation to the sale and supply of drugs.
€24,465, a 172 Volkswagen Golf, KTM Off Road Motor Bike, documentation and a small quantity of suspected Cocaine was seized during the operation.
€151,000 in financial accounts was also frozen under the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) Act with investigations ongoing.
