Donegal Action for Cancer Care have ‘positive’ meeting Minister for Health



Donegal Action for Cancer Care has met with the Minister for Health to discuss the need for a action plan to tackle major waiting lists post Covid.

Stephen Donnelly has confirmed that a second breast check unit is being considered for Donegal to address the backlog of patients currently awaiting an appointment.

He also said waiting lists for urology services at Letterkenny University Hospital were being looked at as part of the waiting lists pathway back.

Agriculture Minister, Charlie McConalogue was also in attendance.

Betty Holmes of Donegal Action for Cancer Care said the meeting was a positive one.
