Ballina honours Howley on 100th anniversary as Enniscrone bridge row continues



Today is the 100th anniversary of the death of IRA volunteer, Thomas Howley of Enniscrone, shot dead by the Black and Tans during the War of Independence. The town of Ballina has honoured him this week, as David O’Malley of the Community Clean Up group outlines, as the row continues over how he should be commemorated in Enniscrone
