14 day incidence rate in South Donegal slowly rising



The 14 day incidence rate per 100,000 people has been consistently rising in the South Donegal local electoral area for the past month.

While remaining just below the national average of 128.1, the area is now on 120.8; it was 30.2 a month ago.

By comparison, all other local electoral areas in the OceanFM area have a rate of less than 5; these being Ballymote/Tubbercurry, Sligo/Strandhill and Sligo/Drumcliff in Co. Sligo and Manorhamilton in Co. Leitrim.

There have been a further 524 confirmed cases of Covid 19 confirmed this afternoon with 107 patients in hospital, 38 of which are in ICU.
