A Sligo homecare provider is to create 70 new jobs in Roscommon and Galway over the next 12 months.
These new jobs will support Westcare Homecare in the delivery of care to older persons, within the home setting and local community.
Director of Westcare Homecare Sharon Carter said they were looking forward to recruiting from the local community
Damien English T.D., Minister for Business, Employment and Retail, said the jobs announcement is a great boost for those who wish to work and develop a career in the growing home care sector in Ireland.
