A new €5m fund has been announced for remote working hubs.
The Connected Hubs Fund aims to expand existing facilities, such as ManorHUB in Co. Leitrim, provide additional furniture, office space and rooms for meetings.
It will also be used to install electric car charging points, upgrade disability access and improve IT facilities.
Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys made the announcement with funding coming under the umbrella of the government’s five year plan; ‘Our Rural Future’.
Welcoming the news, CEO of ManorHUB, Ronan Haslette believes remote working is the way of the future.
