The Leitrim Branch Irish Catholic Association says it had to end a prayer meeting on Sunday after gardai arrived.
The prayer meeting was taking place in the Allen Centre Drumshanbo Co Leitrim.
A branch spokesman says they were reported by member of the public to on Garda Síochána and a patrol car arrived
A Garda asked the secretary of the Leitrim Branch Sean Wynne that the meeting cease and the instruction was complied with.
