Sligo Labour Party activist asking people to complete survey on towns, villages

A Sligo Labour Party activist is urging people to complete a survey on what’s needed to ensure the future of towns and villages.

The Labour Party is carrying out the survey to hear what people think needs to be done to restore and improve local urban centres and main streets.

The survey can be accessed on the Sligo/Leitrim Labour Party Facebook and Twitter pages.

Nessa Cosgrove, a Sligo Labour Party activist, says we cannot continue to lose services, banks, post offices, shops and pubs and expect urban centres to survive.

She has been telling Ocean Fm News why she thinks there’s a need for such a survey.
