Driving test waiting figures continue to rise

Not enough is being done to tackle driving test waiting times across the region.

That’s according to Sligo Labour Local Area Representative, Nessa Cosgrove that says 1,063 people are waiting in Sligo, 759 in Donegal and 815 at the Carrick on Shannon test centre.

Currently only those deemed essential workers can carry out their tests.

Speaking to OceanFM News, Nessa Cosgrove says the numbers continue to rise and something must be done sooner rather than later to address them.
