There are no confirmed dates yet for this year’s inter-county programme of fixtures.
There is, however, some concern that the under 20 championships could be dropped because of the limited calendar.
That’s a worry for three local under 20 managers: Fermanagh’s Maurice Ferguson, Leitrim’s Benny Guckian and Sligo under 20 boss Dessie Sloyan. They spoke to Ocean FM Sport about why, they believe, the under 20 championship has to be played this year – of all years.
