A north Leitrim councillor is calling on Bank of Ireland, AIB and the local Credit union to ensure that an ATM machine is retained on the street in Manorhamilton.
Sinn Fein Councillor Padraig Fallon has urged the local authority in Leitrim to engage with the financial providers after Bank of Ireland signalled that they intend to close their outlet in Manorhamilton.
Fine Gael Councillor Frank Dolan has also made calls for the retention of an ATM machine in the Town.
Cllr Fallon says it’s vital that residents have access to an ATM 24 hours a day.
