The schedule for when Donegal pharmacy staff will receive a Covid-19 vaccine is due to begin tomorrow.
There were concerns raised as staff in other counties within the HSE’s Community Healthcare Organisations area (CHO1) had received a jab.
Independent Donegal Councillor, Michael Cholm MacGiollaeasbuig, is welcoming the news saying it’s great to see a ‘unified front’ from across the political spectrum in relation to this.
While welcoming the news, he is critical of the government’s handling of the situation.
He also says it will be of huge relief for staff across the county but feels it’s unfair that other people who have worked throughout the pandemic have yet to receive it and wants it administered as soon as possible.
