Benny McDermott, Ardsallaghmore, Roscommon Town and formerly of Aughris, Templeboy, Co. Sligo. Unexpectedly at Galway University Hospital. Due to current restrictions, Benny’s funeral and house will be private to family only please. The funeral cortege will leave his home on Tuesday morning at 10am, arriving at St. Adamnan’s Church, Skreen, Co. Sligo for Mass of the Resurrection at 12pm, with burial in St Joseph’s Cemetery, Templeboy. The Funeral Mass can be viewed live by following the link on our website; Click Here. J. T. (John Thomas) Higgins, Aughnacloy, Geevagh, Sligo / Boyle, Roscommon. At home, peacefully, after a brief illness. Remains will lie in repose at home today and Tuesday. House private on Wednesday morning. J.T’s funeral cortège will leave the family home, arriving at St. Joseph’s Church, Geevagh, for Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Kilmactranny Cemetery. In keeping with current restrictions and guidelines, J.T’s funeral will be held in private with his immediate family. Mask wearing and social distancing to be observed at all times please. Margaret McManus, nee Keown, Bar-of-Slattinagh, Cashel, Garrison, Co. Fermanagh. Non-covid related. Remains will arrive in St. Joseph’s Church, Cashel on Wednesday for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Margaret’s funeral cortege will proceed from the Brollagh Road through Garrison on Wednesday at 10:30am approximately. People wishing to pay their respects may do so along the way while observing social distance. Due to the current regulations, the house, Mass and interment are private to family only.
