Donegal Doctor says vaccine problems can be sorted



A Donegal GP says the logistical challenges posed by the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines can be overcome, and that rollout to over 70s in GP clinics could start next week.

 

Both vaccines have been recommended for use in the elderly instead of the AstraZeneca dose because of better efficacy.

 

However they have to be kept at very cold temperatures, presenting challenges for delivery and storage to GP clinics.
