Battle Against Covid: Top garda pleads with people to ‘consider their actions’



During the last seven days, gardai in Sligo have issued more than 50 on-the-spot fines in relation to house parties and people travelling beyond five kilometres from their home.

Although overall compliance with Covid-19 restrictions has been good, Chief Superintendent Aidan Glacken says there have been some slippages.

Speaking to Ocean FM News, he says everyone should see themselves as being on the frontline when it comes to the effort to stop the spread of the virus.
