There’s celebrations in Ballymote, Co Sligo, today, with the opening of a new post office premises in the town.
It’s in the Kane’s SuperValu store.
For generations, the post office had operated from a building across the road from SuperValu, on the top of The Rock, in Ballymote.
Kane’s SuperValu Manager Richard Kelly says that with full post office services remaining in Ballymote, it’s a good day for the south Sligo town.
