Tubbercurry’s John Murphy has been formally installed as President of Connacht GAA.
He began his tenure at Thursday night’s provincial convention, which was held online – and will have the role for the next three years.
He succeeds Leitrim’s Gerry McGovern who has completed his three years at the helm.
Murphy is the sixth Sligo person to hold the Connacht GAA presidency.
His grandfather, Jack Brennan, was the first.
