Jockey Oisín Orr was named the overall Donegal Sports Start of the Year winner at a virtual ceremony on Friday night.

23-year-old Orr has a growing reputation in flat racing, recording 39 race wins in 2020.
A landmark success came last September when he won his first Grade 1 race the Irish St Ledger on board 7/1 shot Search For A Song for trainer Dermot Weld.
The pandemic restrictions meant the awards ceremony moved online for the first time in its 45 year history – with the number of prize categories reduced to `12.
Former Finn Harps and Sligo Rovers manager Patsy McGowan was inducted into the Hall of Fame for his contribution to soccer in Donegal.
