Sligo Rovers have signed the Derry City attacking player Walter Figueira for the new season.
England-born Figueira is a former Chelsea youth player who made 19 appearances for the Candystripes in 2020, scoring four goals.
He previously had a spell with Waterford FC in 2019.
Figueira, who’s 25 years of age, becomes the 16th signing by manager Liam Buckley for the 2021 season.

The new season is, for now, scheduled to begin on Friday, March 19th – subject to the government’s Covid restrictions at that time.
