Local Vice Principal says exams should proceed



The Teachers’ Union of Ireland believes the Leaving Cert can go ahead this year.

 

The class of 2021 has missed around 40 per cent of the curriculum because of Covid 19.

 

Schools aren’t expected to return in full until after St Patrick’s Day.

 

Vice Principal at Drumshanbo Vocational School Sean Wynne says the exams should proceed and that the time that students have missed could be factored into account when it comes to setting the exams:
