Emlyn Mulligan joining St Mary’s in Sligo



Emlyn Mulligan will have a new club whenever the club season begins this year.

He’s joining St Mary’s in Sligo.

Mulligan, who’s 32 is now living in Sligo.

He captained Melvin Gaels the knockout stages Leitrim senior championship – but he’s now settled in Sligo, so is committing to the Sligo St Mary’s for 2021.

The Ballydoogan club, who are managed by another Leitrim man Aidan Rooney, were Sligo senior football semi-finalists in 2020.

Mulligan won a Leitrim senior club championship title with his native Melvin Gaels in 2012.

He also played for a time with St Brigid’s in Dublin.
