A Sligo/Leitrim TD is asking that decisions on this year’s school examinations, particularly in relation to the Leaving Certificate, be taken within the next three weeks at the latest.
Fianna Fail Deputy Marc MacSharry told the Dail that students, parents and families deserved to know early what will be the arrangements will be.
He added that throughout the Covid crisis, young people had suffered disproportionately.
