Dogs without leashes are again a concern for sheep farmers, this time in a scenic area of north Sligo.
The issue has most recently arisen in the Gleniff Horseshoe area near Ballintrillick, where people have been out walking with dogs that are not on a leash.
It’s also an issue in other areas in the region, with more people out walking during the recent dry, cold weather.
North Sligo Councillor Marie Casserly said a number of farmers have contacted her about the matter.
