Thomas O`Brien, 2 Old Fort Road, Kevinsfort, Sligo. Formerly of Irish Distillers. Funeral will leave his residence on Wednesday at 12:00 Noon to arrive to The Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, Sligo for Requiem Mass at 12:30pm followed by burial in St. Patrick`s Cemetery, Scarden, Co. Sligo. Due to the current Covid 19 restrictions and guidelines, the house and funeral must be private for family only. Family flowers only. James (Fursey) Boland, Leekfield, Skreen, Co. Sligo. At Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at Sweeney’s Funeral Home, Dromore West, from 6pm with removal at 8pm to St. Adamnan’s Church, Skreen. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12pm with burial in St. Mary’s cemetery Skreen. Due to current restrictions, the Funeral Mass will be private to family and friends. Family flowers only.

 

Johnny Meehan, Romford, England and formerly of Strade, Rossinver, Co. Leitrim, brother of Maisie and Frank Meehan, Rossinver. Funeral will take place in England at a later date. Messages of condolence may be left on rip.ie.

 

Sean Brennan, Glocca Morra, Ballymote Road, Tubbercurry. In the care of UCH Galway. Due to government restrictions, a private family funeral will take place. Mary Hopper of Cregg House, Rosses Point, Co. Sligo and formerly of Treacy Avenue, Sligo. Reposing at Foley And McGowan`s Funeral Home, Old Market house, Market Yard, Sligo today Tuesday. Funeral will arrive to The Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, Sligo on Thursday for Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon with funeral proceeding to Sligo Cemetery afterwards.. Michael Kane, Upper end, Mountcharles. Co. Donegal.  Peacefully at his residence. Non COVID-19. Remains reposing at his late residence, with removal from there on Wednesday morning, going to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles, for 11am funeral mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. Due to government and HSE guidelines wake and funeral are private to family only please. Kateann Mattimoe (née Clerkin), Ballyfarnon, via  Boyle, Co. Sligo, and formerly of Drumee, Ballintogher and Gleann, Co. Sligo. At Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle. Predeceased by her husband Michael-Joe. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Brigid’s Church, Highwood on Wednesday morning at 11.30 a.m. Interment afterwards in Kilmactranny Cemetery. Mass will be streamed live on Geevagh.ie (Facebook page) House and Church private to family only please. Those wishing to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions are unable to do so may leave a message of sympathy in the condolence section on RIP.ie. The family appreciate your sympathy, support and understanding at this difficult time.

 

June Hunter, Edenmount. First Sea Road, Sligo and formerly Ballincar, Co. Sligo. Funeral Service to take place privately Wednesday followed by burial in Sligo Cemetery at 12.30pm approx. Due to the current HSE restrictions on funeral gatherings , funeral will be restricted to family only please.
