A status Yellow warning for high winds has been issued by Met Eireann for the whole country.
It’s valid from 3pm this afternoon and remains until 4am Sunday morning.
The forecaster are predicting wind speeds of upto 65km/h and gusts of upto 110km/h.
With the combination of strong winds, high waves and forecasted storm surge, there is also a risk of flooding along coastal areas.
