Sligo Rovers under -19s won the FAI national league shield title on Tuesday night with a 5-3 win against UCD.
The club’s under-17 Player of the Season Johnny Kenny, son of the former Rovers player with the same name, scored four of the U19 team’s goals in the decider.
Rovers had beaten Bray Wanderers 6-2 in Saturday’s semi-final.
