Funding allocated for regional airports



A further funding allocation of €3.4 million euro is being made available in grant aid to the operating costs of three regional airports – including Ireland West Airport and Donegal regional Airport.

The grants are targeted at safety and security operations at the airports.

The funding is in addition to almost €2.5 million in capital grants already allocated to these airports in July this year.

Donegal is to receive 580,617 euro while Ireland West Airport in Knock will received 1,353,859.
