A man will appear before Sligo District Court this coming Thursday arising from a fire near a Garda car and another vehicle in Sligo town yesterday evening.
The incident occurred on Pearse Road just before 6:30pm.
What gardai say was a small fire was extinguished, no injuries were reported and there was no damage to either vehicle.
A man in his 30s was arrested and detained at Ballymote Garda Station.
He was charged and released on bail to appear before Sligo District Court on Thursday.
