Declan Bonner intends to stay on as Donegal manager



Donegal’s senior football manager Declan Bonner intends to continue in the role next season.

Speaking to to the Donegal News, he’s indicated that he wants to see out the remaining year left in his current agreement with the county board.

Donegal’s championship season came to an abrupt end last Sunday when they were beaten by Cavan in the Ulster final at the Athletic Grounds in Armagh (1-13 to 0-12).

It’s understood Bonner will meet with Donegal GAA Chairman Mick McGrath and county board officials in the coming weeks to review the 2020 season and agree the next steps for the senior football panel.
