A new community library and digital hub is proposed for Dromahair in Co Leitrim.
Councillors from Manorhamilton Municipal District will consider approving the council chief executive’s report on planning for the project at their meeting this coming Monday.
Submissions under public consultation for the project closed on Wednesday of last week.
The proposed digital hub is to help people work from home and support flexible working arrangements. It will provide Wi-Fi, printers, scanners, copiers, 3D printing, video conferencing and remote printing facilities.
Fine Gael Councillor Frank Dolan says it would be a major boost for Dromahair.
