A young man is expected to appear before Sligo District Court this morning in connection with the seizure of drugs worth about €196,00 in Sligo town during the weekend.
It followed a number of searches by the Sligo/Leitrim Drugs Unit in the Cranmore area.
Drugs worth an estimated €30,000 were found at one house in the area.
The larger haul, as well as some ammunition, was found during a follow-up searches.
