GAA member objects to use of word ‘units’ in Bloody Sunday letter

A local GAA member and supporter has objected to the use of the word ‘units’ in a letter sent to all GAA clubs to have them commemorate the Bloody Sunday massacre at the weekend. The man says the word ‘unit’ has a military connotation, and its use was inappropriate for such a sensitive occasion
