Calls were made at the November meeting of the Manorhamilton MD of Leitrim County Council for an upgrade of the CCTV system in Manorhamilton.
The calls came from local independent Councillor Felim Gurn.
Cllr. Gurn says the existing system has been instrumental in detecting and preventing crimes from Sligo to Enniskillen and from Carrick on Shannon to Bundoran.
